Love this!! Be intentional about taking time to really think. I know this must sound crazy but I use to use my drive time for this, however, I now work from a home office. I really need to be more intentional and make time for purposeful "think" time. Always appreciate your thinking Madeleine. Keep up the great work and thank you for your contributions.

This makes so much sense. Having meaningful relationships with friends inside and outside of work is so important and brings so much joy to our lives!

This is SO important. Our overall stress levels are ever increasing...on an hourly basis. We have got to learn to have more "nothing days" or we will all be terribly unhealthy. I loved that you said this is not a sign of a character flaw - but rather a way to optimize our brain. I am forever amazed when I think I''m being lazy and get a great idea for a new way of doing something. We can all make a difference in current cultural expectations if we practice this regularly, as Cheryl states. Thank you for another great article/thought!

So true. A nothing day is so important to life balance. Allowing your mind and body to relax feels amazing. I too have had many ah moments during these times, where the pieces of a puzzle come together, or inspiration has come, or I am simply re-charged for the next day. I love the idea of scheduling a nothing day or nothing time regularly!

"So what?" Mad, this is genius. I am using this now. Probably daily to combat those fears that seem to creep up inside our minds. Thank you!

So appreciate this reminder as it is something I really have to work on. It is the law of attraction that plays into our dreams/vision. We are not suppose to worry about the "how" but rather the "what." Keeping the end goal in mind helps to manifest the how''s and we all need to trust that more. It''s a total magnet. We all need to do what we can from where we are, and it will always be enough if we keep the dream/vision in mind. I read somewhere that "fast takes longer when we hurry." Everything will happen when it is meant to happen when we have dreams. Thanks for the reminder!
